In capitalism, loyalty, power, control is fleeting. The reason socialism is so favoured by those in power is because some people can’t take the idea that they love you one day, and forget you the next. That’s capitalism. You see the same users who loved Twetch be so quick to trash Twetch. Those with quips of “I love competition!” are often those who aren’t even in the arena. In time, respect will be given to those who competed and won for a period of time for we will no longer expect everlasting greatness.

Twetch usability was fine but the overlords ruined the experience.

For me personally, most of the projects I've been a part of the past year were ideas I as a youngster wanted to do since being in Bitcoin. When the tank runs out, it'll be time to leave things to a new generation.
"The real bosses, in the capitalist system of market economy, are the consumers. They, by their buying and by their abstention from buying, decide who should own the capital and run the plants. They determine what should be produced and in what quantity and quality. Their attitudes result either in profit or in loss for the enterpriser. They make poor men rich and rich men poor. They are no easy bosses. They are full of whims and fancies, changeable and unpredictable. They do not care a whit for past merit. As soon as something is offered to them that they like better or that is cheaper, they desert their old purveyors. With them nothing counts more than their own satisfaction. They bother neither about the vested interests of capitalists nor about the fate of the workers who lose their jobs if as consumers they no longer buy what they used to buy." -- Ludwig von Mises

That's well said!
Hard for entrepreneurs, good for comsumers... In your opinion, what would be the incentives for entrepreneurs to invest long term if moats will be so hard to build and even harder to keep?
jackcliu replied:
Do things cause you love to. Gone will be the days you did things only cause you thought you would profit greatly. If you are strictly seeking profits, focus on continuous innovation and continuous positive cash flows and retire when you have been surpassed.

If I love fishing and farming will I do well? It may sound silly but those activities are very good for the spirit and the sentiment. Simply wake up and deal with mother nature, the earth, the animals, the sun, the rain...

Of course! I’d love to do that myself. Here’s what I wrote onto Bitcoin back in March 2019. https://bico.media/bae922ee7979427b614e2d200886281a837c75b68ded0731450843e7752babbf.pdf
