[Experimental New Feature] Swipe-less instant posting. Found a way to do "invisible moneybutton" with minimum effort, so currently experimenting with it, can flip it on or off easily. Here's what this means: 1. You don't need to swipe every time to post. Simply clicking "post" will post, instantly. 2. You don't need to swipe twice for tipping, just need to swipe once. 3. The very first time when you try to post, it will ask you for your permission. The permission will say "allow the app to use $0". This is because the only time you'll spend money is through tipping, and the tipping will explicitly ask for your consent. Most importantly, it still has the SAME AUTH MODEL where every API request is uniquely signed with Paymail. Note that this is experimental, so I ask for your feedback. Let me know what you think.

This is absolutely awesome. Totally sensible. Completely inevitable
You are prolific!
Huge improvement
Good!
great feature for sure, perhaps a confirmation pop up after successful post? I dont get any conf. So i post again, and then its double posted.. or vice versa, i dont get conf. But the status bar fills and i believe it posted, refresh browser and it didnt post.. lol, kind of a guessing game without conf popup :/ still tho, great feature but i kinda do miss all the swiping, i may change to back to swipe or a while 🙏🙏
bender replied:
Just watched video closer.. page should refresh on its own, huh mine doesnt seem to... brave
unwriter replied:
yeah it's supposed to auto-refresh. Does it only happen when you use instant mode? what happens for strict mode where you explicitly swipe?
bender replied:
It seems to auto refresh now but intermittently on instant, i am behind adguard wall, that maybe why? Ill mess around a bit more when im free to and report back 🙏
Rapid Development!
Nice
Very thoughtful separation. Paid actions button. Signing invisible. I like this. A lot.
Nice!!
super great!
I have a love/hate relation with the moneybutton slider. It doesn't slide, it tweaks a lot and requires quite good hand/eye coordination ;) Anything to make that easier I support!

A very elegant solution,@unwriter. Very quick on user end... I guess I'm one of the few that liked all the swiping lol

Works well here. I’m I’m glad you still swipe to tip. I actually prefer to confirm when spending money.

Still uses the Bitcoin-native stateless auth model (no OAuth or any tightly coupled architecture with Moneybutton). Also opens up opportunities for other integrations. But as I said, this is experimental and not final. You never learn unless you try stuff, and this is one way to "learn" what happens when we try something. I still believe the ideal solution is if wallet brands are exposed while providing a seamless UX, but that's not today, which is why we're experimenting. Love love the experimentation!
vicarcalsado replied:
I agree, I still believe swiping is a feature. And wallet providers should compete on providing their best UX design. Users will follow which experience they prefer - enabling options. Deciding to hide them now, will suppress this creativity - making it bland. There will be more users to come, most will consider these wallet options as a feature. I'm wondering how many will really hide the button if it becomes optional. Number's won't lie.
