This looks cool. My initial hesitation is that I don't want to install something that I don't know. I would feel more comfortable with a moneybutton integration.
The extension is open source. You can fund with a few pennies to test it out. It funds from your moneybutton. I had to create my own streaming wallet so that I can work independently without dependencies on external timelines. I will work with any wallet provider who wants to support streaming bitcoin micropayments. Handcash has already signaled they are receptive to the idea. I love moneybutton and handcash.
Totally get it and it makes sense. I just am not comfortable even if open source as I am not going to do a full code review every pull. I trust money button so that is who I want writing my transactions. Love the idea though.
Your concern is noted and I will keep it in mind. There is a lot of work to be done centered around user privacy and MoneyStream is early alpha. We are open about development and keep a running list of known issues, privacy is one of them. But also note that transactions are written to a blockchain. That means MoneyStream is auditable by looking at the transactions that it writes. I invite scrutiny.
