Well, sort of@jasmr but thickness has dimension which is easier to quantify.
If you place a point (from a pen or pencil) on a piece of paper then "zoom" in enough the point seems to have a surface area (a Plane). Also if you keep adding to the point, when is it no longer a point?

Yep. We visited a great historical park in Burlington Vermont some years ago and they had some which really inspired me.
