"Was I on the right side of that fork? I don't know - To this very day I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have been so forceful and quick to jump to one side or the other." - Roger Ver Highly recommend watching this recent conversation between@jack and Roger Ver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3YgvJg66Zo

FYSA. If anyone wants to listen to the specific time Roger was talking about CSW storming out (not on audio) and Roger then pushing on the other nChain guys (Shadders was the second to speak, sounded like maybe Owen Vaughan was the first)... you can hear it here: https://soundcloud.com/user-489394338 Go to 1:15 on the BKK-DAY1-EnglishOnly-Aug30-2018 track.
One thing which I picked from this discussion is that Ver is failing to separate personalities from the tech. He kept hitting on Calvin and CSW, though he acknowledges merits of BSV. All the best to him.
jack replied:
I think he also values integration in the crypto world much more highly than most in BSV do and BCH is leading in that regard. He owns ETH for God’s sake... I don’t doubt he will capitulate once there is more significant activity on BSV
@jack may not like the fact that this "ping" kinda helps me save time and not watch the whole thing! LOL.

U can say that again.
That was a quite the moment, right?

I think that was a skilled humility gambit and not inconsistent w/ some of his other interviews lately (see his Numpty interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrnwlCQ-l9o - although maybe I should link to Streamanity to keep@isaacmorehouse 's cash flow up!)... or maybe an actual acknowledgment of which chain may "succeed." But, it's clear that he definitely sides w/ BCH for advancing his actual values (like cash shuffling, privacy...) and that he values those attributes much more than disciplined protocols, unbounded scaling, enterprise adoption, etc. He obviously has distaste for CSW and Ayre, but he hates the idea of a "law and order chain subjugated to statist masters" much more. But, your supporter convergence train of thought is what really matters... adoption. You indicated Roger was inspiration for much of your maximalist mindset in Unbounded, but he seems rather anti-maximalist in practice and speech (room for everycoin at the table)... but he did go down that track a bit with the gray market speech. His criticisms on the relative inability to "use" BSV as "money" is a genuine issue though that needs to be taken more seriously/aggressively by Bitcoin Association and the broader team. There should be thousands of PoS or online portals that take BSV. It is so tough to even buy a single satoshi for most folks (almost no exchanges, almost no vendors, etc.), let alone spend them in the economy. BSV might be winning the conceptual battle and some nascent novel usage platforms (but, we're in the echo chamber, who knows) -- but not for B2C commerce right now.
