In the short term I am using an app called “metaimage”, it embeds meta data into the image file. You can create templates so you can do batches at a time. I also added my handcash address.
pete replied:
^ Yes, that's a good start... But unfortunately meta data can be easily deleted. 😕 There are also other ways to "stamp" your images, such as watermarking them. There are at least 2 different watermark methods: visible watermark, which can be like a logo/text at the corner, and somewhat invisible watermark. The latter is data that can be placed in a specific color channel. Often it's in blue color channel. -> Also one way is to hide small text, or a QR code, inside the image. This method is not reliable as images can be resized and compressed. -> In the U.S. it's possible to register photos with the Copyright Office. Maybe she should point the "fucking evil" towards the criminal who stole the art.
thacypha replied:
The person is calling out NTF as evil should not be not be overlooked!
thacypha replied:
"This process is irreversible. And this is why NFTs are fucking evil." Please address this point?
pete replied:
😃 How about we replace NFT with a Rolex watch? So if someone buys a fake Rolex, and starts preaching that actually the fake is real, and the real is fake, then does the fake become real and real become fake? No. It's not relevant how many people believe in the wrong answer.
thacypha replied:
You did not address the point! "It's not relevant how many people believe in the wrong answer" So by your own warped logic it does not matter how many people are conned?
pete replied:
It's the criminal who is responsible for conning people, not the original art creator, or original art, or the mechanism (such as a website that lists Non-Fungible Tokens) that made the con possible.
thacypha replied:
So by your own warped logic it does not matter how many people are conned? Please answer the question put to you!
thacypha replied:
Core coin is not BitCoin but it does not matter how many people buy core coin! Really do you see how faulty your logic is?
pete replied:
1/2: True is true even if everyone would claim that fake is true, and the other way. This is not warped logic, but the old-school logic where true is true and false is false no matter what the opinion of the people is.
pete replied:
2/2: Those who buy Bitcoin Core can see it as BitCoin. Something being or not being BitCoin can't be determined unless what is BitCoin is defined. 😉 If what is BitCoin is defined in the whitepaper, then Bitcoin Core, or Core coin, or Bitcoin SV, or Bitcoin Cash, can be and can't be BitCoin based on the interpretation of the whitepaper.
thacypha replied:
Based on my interpretation of the white paper BitCoin is BSV. Like i said your logic is flawed how in any sense can core coin or cash be BitCoin? There is a reason i don't call them BitCoin. Make the mistake of calling them BitCoin again and see what happens!
