TAAL have 70k-80k BSV on their balance sheet. Craig Wright bought in $6m-$7m worth of shares in the recent $40m public offering 👀

Great find. Investor relations confirmed to me that the 74k BSV came from Calvin and Craig who paid for the shares they picked up in the offering using BSV. Seems like Craig just pre-paid some with the 7M BSV loan (which if he and Calvin bought the full first 26M of the offering means he coughed up ~$3.25M CAD in additional BSV to settle the balance for the shares issued to him).

Taal also collecting rewards of about 200BSV/day! Thats about 700k CAD/week at 400USD/BSV.
And they are mining about 1 in 3 BSV blocks. Which puts the yearly revenue with BSV=300USD at over 40M CAD. Take the 40M CAD in recent capital raise and the 30M CAD in BSV (using 80k BSV at 300USD/BSV) out of the market cap, and an investor buying today is paying ~1.5X 2021 revenue for the shares at current market price(s).

Found an interesting bit of information that might make separating the 40M raised in the offering from the BSV holdings impractical until we see year end financials. From a SEDAR filing: “Calvin Ayre…was the lead investor to the Offering, purchasing 2,939,828 Units under the Offering for an aggregate purchase price of $13,523,208.80, such purchase price being paid to the Company in the form of Bitcoin SV (BSV)”- Mar 26

Yes seems the 74k BSV in TAAL’s treasury has come mainly from Calvin investing in the public offering using BSV. I think Craig too. The initial $7m loan was paid back during the offerings too - I think in the form of TAAL shares.
I watched it. Am I right in thinking Craig out fresh cash in? Different to the bsv loans he made to the company at new year?
liam replied:
Seems so. The public offering was raised only in Canadian dollars I believe. So Craig would've had to fork up some CAD to get the shares.

Unless he paid in BSV like Calvin did From a SEDAR filing: “Calvin Ayre…was the lead investor to the Offering, purchasing 2,939,828 Units under the Offering for an aggregate purchase price of $13,523,208.80, such purchase price being paid to the Company in the form of Bitcoin SV (BSV)”- Mar 26
