I always feel upset for don't understand cryptography, such as ECDSA. Until I read this from Joe Armstrong:
"And yes, we are programmers, and the code is open source and we can read it, but it is beyond the state of the art to prove that it is correct and even if we could prove that the program corresponds to the math, we probably could not understand the math."
