P.S. Please don't upload illegal content. Remember, you are cryptographically signing everything you upload and they are stored with immutable transaction IDs, so there will be no plausible deniability.

PDF support comes to Powping! No need to do anything fancy, just upload like you would upload any other file types, and it will auto-detect and render PDFs. Here are some examples: - Bitcoin Whitepaper: https://powping.com/posts/495c20e1c2848db7953ff62330cf9705526264be32aef40ddab115cc8b01ca4f - Lego Patent: https://powping.com/posts/efb25e57533777a091a2954e2df26f88d86411ff76fb443b8fb428ac2be58db7

I really like the transaction fetch feature. Would it be possible to create a new tab with the result instead of copying to the clipboard? In most cases you want to see the result immediately. And if you want to copy, you can copy from the new tab.

"1. No changes needed to the POS-Frontend 2. No training needed for store personnel. In fact, store personnel don’t even need to know Bitcoinsv is accepted as there is not a single button to be pressed for invoicing Bitcoinsv. All this is possible whilst still using native Bitcoinsv and retaining all it’s properties and advantages. 3. No change in user experience on the wallet side." This is great! Is the handshake protocol publicly available somewhere?

The best thing about building apps in a Bitcoin native way is that there will always be ways to monetize natively. This was not the case for the web era companies because the web stack did not have a native monetization protocol. This led to service providers having to resort to monetize by aggregating attention and selling the bulk attention to advertisers because that's the most frictionless way. Not the case with Bitcoin because Bitcoin eliminates that friction. Monetization from tips is alr

I enjoyed your article on nano services, I think it will open up a lot of opportunities that have been previously considered "it will happen someday...". There are so many use cases. As for Powping, yes you're right that's possible. In fact that would be the most straightforward model which can be implemented even right now. The reason we're not implementing a business model today is because I already know this is possible, but at the same time don't want to lock Powping into a single business

i just tried an experiment but looks like it's working. sometimes there's a glitch which makes image uploads fail. If you do an image upload and don't see an image preview before posting the full post, it means the image was not uploaded successfully. Were you able to see a preview before posting?

There's not much to gain by making it compatible with RSS because the existing toolset and ecosystem around RSS are for publishing and subscribing to content, whereas Bitfeed is for Bitcoin transactions. Simply using an RSS format won't make Bitfeed automatically render in RSS readers because they're simply transaction IDs and raw transactions. XML is not really a good idea in 2020 either. The case for using JSON over XML is demonstrated by projects such as JSONFeed https://www.jsonfeed.org/201

I think we should adopt a layered approach like TCP/IP. Bitfeed was designed to be as minimal as possible and unopinionated just like IP is. It only cares about publishing transaction IDs just like IP doesn't care about reliability. That way we can overlay multiple different layers on top.

Was thinking about autosave feature but that would require using the "invisible button" feature. Technically it's possible to implement but a bit of work, will look into it at some point in the future, but maybe making the "new" button open in a new window may solve this in an adhoc way for now?

The true way to “own” something is to own it regardless of where it exists. You own your money in your pocket. You also own your money in your bank account. The question of "where you store things you own" must be made irrelevant in order to truly own something. Bitcoin is a great tool that can enable this. More coming up for Powping and Powpress, that will make this very clear.

For this to work securely, would the emergency wallet need to be always a 3rd party wallet? If the wallet software is compromised, the same issue may apply to every wallet ever generated from the same software.
