Amazing how our event ("The Great Reset") back in 2019 ended up coming to fruition just a year later, to the month. Big thanks to @jimmywin who flew out to speak. We've learned many things since then, and continue to evolve. Bitcoin still has a long way to go! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eoq87blN7aw&feature=youtu.be

Personally, i think the BSV ecosystem is still quite young I see 1-2 more decades worth of development. However, a good bridge would be to work with Zayo, but then start connecting them into the BSV ecosystem. This would be much more fruitful (imo), as it helps bring it out of any "echo-chambers." Other than say a handful of companies (e.g. HandCash, MoneyButton, etc.), who are mostly venture-backed, most BSV companies are yet to be profitable. As such, you could tap into where the flow is already (e.g. Zayo), and then start to bridge that with the BSV ecosystem. We currently do that for Faiā (www.faiacorp.com). Most of our clients have been non-BSV, and our target market is such, but we are big advocates for Bitcoin in the long-run. We're just taking a pragmatic approach, and bridging the gap by exposing our clients and non-technical fans to what's truly possible. Either way, best of luck with your efforts, and great job reaching out to everyone!

Although I'm currently logging into @powping more than @twetch, I do love how the Twetch gang are pushing innovate features with their inline micropayments. I actually see what they're doing as the foundations for something that could work for a professional social network such as LinkedIn, since there's more of a formal market culture going on there (marketing message to own your data and also get paid as creators). Whereas @unwriter's PP is currently focused on the social conversations and (hopefully) meaningful discord. If there's anything I've observed about current social networks, it's that they all end up having their own culture and flavor. See this hilarious video for context: https://youtu.be/nVyNuXvcXYA

"Stability and success in our electronic global village increasingly depends on the complex interactions of culture, communication, and technology. This book offers both theoretical approaches and case studies of these interactions from diverse cultural domains, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States. This global perspective helps to counteract the Anglo-American presumptions that have dominated discussion and literature on computer-mediated communication (CMC) technologies. The contributors uncover and challenge the culture-bound values and communicative preferences inherent in CMC technologies-including values and preferences related to gender-and also document non-Western examples of implementing these technologies in ways that catalyze global communication while preserving and enhancing local cultures. Taken together, these essays articulate the interdisciplinary foundations and practical models necessary to design and use CMC technologies in ways that help us to avoid the choice between a global but culturally homogenous "McWorld" and fragmented local cultures whose identities are preserved only in their opposition to globalization." πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”»πŸ”» The most recent Twitter hack for the likes of Elon Musk, Barack Obama, and even Kanye West, begs the question: is ANYONE's online data safe anymore? What's interesting is that, based on my understanding from the article below, the hack was rather simple: "hackers" simply bribed a Twitter employee, got access to some internal tools, and then did their thing. Nothing technically amazing about it. More social engineering. And this is why I think it's important for people to understand both the TECHNICAL and the SOCIAL side of things when it comes to people and tech. All systems can be gamed, now matter how sophisticated the technology. CSW got it right by using economics as part of the solution to all this, versus focusing on technology alone. Singapore actually does this quite effectively as a governance tactic - want people to not do something? Make it really expensive to do so, and most people will think twice about it. As @jimmywin would say, "Welcome to a new dawn." πŸ‘‰ https://www.theverge.com/2020/7/15/21326656/twitter-hack-explanation-bitcoin-accounts-employee-tools πŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”ΊπŸ”Ί

I think the latter is going to win out. Aggression always gets met with similar in return. Bitcoin is not anti-x but pro-y. Taking the playful and inviting approach - not to mention low barrier to entry - means more people get to come in and play without needing to know anything technical about Bitcoin. How it should be.

Loyalty does not exist with tech platforms without a solid product + brand + team. Have noticed how quick people have been to switch from Twetch to PP due to ease of use, low entry barrier, etc. Users today tend to be loyal to what works first, then to all the other stuff. So solid foundations are fundamental to long-term product success. Agree or disagree?

I go with @unwriter's theory. Create something simple and useful, and you won't need to rely on CSW. It always comes down to value. What's the true value of all us being here. That will be revealed soon, and hopefully create enough of a network effect.
