Probably partly due to the lockdowns and a downturn in advertising revenue. But still doesn't look good.

I wasn't in favour of it before it even began, but most people don't mind.

An idea: reverse feed View a feed of all of the people that follow you.

Have Twetch come out of closed beta yet? In other words, can you sign up to Twetch as easily as PowPing?

When you're ready, you will realise you should be the top 3 😀

I agree. BSV is a paradigm shift and all of those projects are basically R&D IMO. Products emerging now have been able to take advantage of the lessons learned in those explorative projects.

From a primitive perspective where men in general are physically stronger than women, women may display their emotions more clearly to attract help from others.

Trending tags is one of the worst aspects of Twitter. I wonder if charging to use a tag would help? Using a tag is a bit like voting, if there is no cost it can easily be gamed.

Twitter is in quite a vulnerable position as a company. There hasn't been much in the way of user growth. There hasn't been much improvement in technology or features. The stock price hasn't really gone anywhere since the IPO 7 years ago. Which limits stock incentives for executives and employees. I presume that talented executives and engineers wouldn't find a career at Twitter appealing. The kinds of people that might be passionate about Twitter in its current form might not be the kind of employees that make Twitter better. Twitter is really vulnerable for some kind of replacement.

Unwriter's Planaria tools are JavaScript although many can be interfaced via http so are somewhat agnostic. MoneyButton's BSV library is JS. @libs has some good alternatives in Elixir.

It could be BSV price fluctuating. I'm not using USD though so I haven't seen this myself.

Does MoneyButton work on Brave mobile? I've got shields down but doesn't work. Works fine on the desktop.

I like the sync when you're ready approach to Bitcoin applications. Once the infrastructure is built out for powping it would be a useful platform for other applications.

An interesting feature to add would be to allow users to create subtopics that can be subscribed to. So if you aren't interested in someone's politics for example you don't have to subscribe to that subtopic. At the moment on most platforms you need to create a separate account to isolate topics.

My understanding is that the only transactions that go on chain are tips. Posts are stored as transactions but not submitted to miners. I imagine in the future there could be an option to sync those transactions to the chain.
