“I may wish to be free from torture, but if the time comes for me to endure it, I’ll wish to bear it courageously with bravery and honor. Wouldn’t I prefer not to fall into war? Neither am I so crazy as to desire illness, but if I must suffer illness, I’ll wish to do nothing rash or dishonorable. The most exciting BSV-based tipping bot is happening on WeChat ... right now

To all the coin holders who complain about the BSV price: You guys are missing the point. First of all, if you're all in on BSV and count on a quick "get rich quickly" scheme, frankly, you suck at managing money. I'd recommend you read some real investment books. Then, if you're jealous of the alt-coin holders, you have the choice to be one of them. No one's stopping you. Pointing fingers wouldn't change your bank account balance. Please, just ... think. Use logic, not emotion. Can you tell

"Believe me, man is capable of somehow creating more Bitcoin. They tell you they're not going to do it, but they mean they're not going to do it unless they want to. That's what they mean when they say they're not going to do it. If they tell you they have rules and they can't do it, don't believe them. When there's enough incentive, bad things will happen. I thought Taylor Swift's new song was about yet another man, but I couldn't be more wrong. My current interpretation is that the song "Willow" is about finding the love of your life, just as you find yourself in "Cardigan", somehow along the way you discover the person/thing you really love. A Perfect sequel. This is just the point of view from a fan.

Bitcoin society is this concept of... it's not something I made up, but other people have done it. I guess a "cosmopolitanism", which Marxists hate. It probably attracts me because if any Marxist comes up and says, "I like that", I'd probably go, "I might explore that idea more". Hahaha... Because I found generally there's about a correlation of r equals 0.99 to if a Marxist genuinely likes something, it's probably a really stupid idea, and vice versa. -- CSW on Marxists and stupid ideas So

One thing I love about PowPing: I feel no rush to post or reply when I do feel like expressing myself, but certain ideas are hard to articulate. So I'd take my time, think things through, come back and post. Now my words would be more coherent for others to understand. The reason is likely that I know there is a genuine conversation going on, and that fishing for "likes" can be a bit boring, because if people enjoy my ideas, they will tip me already. So the focus remains on the conversation it

The Theory of Bitcoin series has such a high knowledge density that it makes other videos sort of bland. For example, many times I would go back and listen to/watch a discussion on a particular topic over and over again until I finally get it. This happens quite a lot. In contrast, quite often it's not the case with other interviews or podcasts; rarely do I watch them a second time. #PowpingShowerThoughts

After reading chapter 8 of "Weaving the Web", it seems interesting to try and connect some dots. SSL was developed in 1994, the same year Amazon was founded. It was only 5 years after Tim Berners-Lee submitted the paper “Information Management: A Proposal". The dot-com bubble reached its peak in 2000. Everything web went from zero to a first bubble burst within 11 years.
